Day 23
Today we started 9.30 am. This day was boring, boring, boring, uphills, heavy traffic and headwinds. We stopped in Namsdalseidet at a café and a short stop at the library for charging. We also met the german guy again Dominique. In the evening the landscape got a little better and we found a nice spot at 8 pm. Today we even had a campfire. Distance 87 km.

Day 22
Today it was a late start almost 11 before we hit the road. I was great weather most of the day but in the afternoon came some rain. We had lunch in Kolvereid, not a very good one on my account and then we continued. In the evening there was some rain, strong headwinds and some hard uphills. It took us some time before we found a tentspot but it was pretty good. So we made dinner and studied the map before reading my book. Distance today was 72 km

Day 21
Today we took a slow morning and didn't leave until 12 from Moseheimen camping.
We left Brönnöysund and cycled to Vennesand and took the ferry. It took us some time before we found a suitable place to camp but finally we did. Distance today was 84 km

Day of rest at Mosheim

Day 20
This morning we had coffee and then we went to the camping which was close by and checked in to a cabin. We unpacked everything in our bags and set the tents to dry. Then I had a really nice long shower and put some laundry in the machine before we went to the city center of Brännöysund. We bought wine and some food, then I went to the bikeshop to get a new screw for the rack which I lost two days ago and temporary fixed with strips. Not much to see in this town so we went back to the camping to hang the laundry, make some vegetarian taco, drink wine and use wifi. It is so nice to have a rest day and the weather is fantastic. I really enjoy this!

Happiness is...

to be able to put on dry socks after being wet for two days! It was almost 9 before I was on the road. I stopped at Sandnessjöen library to charge a little and then I continued to the ferry from Tjötta. It was a lovely little ferry and I really enjoyed the trip which lasted for an hour. Then I cycled to Anndalsvåg and it was one hour until the next ferry. I got onboard earlier thanks to the nice staff. This day has been so lovely, dry shoes, sunshine and summer breeze. Lovely cycling route and extremely beautiful nature. Norway is so damn beautiful and I have lots of energy! Just as I got off the ferry I saw eight mooses all at one time! Then I cycled a bit more after arriving Horn until I saw The Lost Cyclist along the roadside. It was not the best campsite he found but it will do. So I pitched the tent and made dinner. Now it's almost 1 am and I'm gonna read some in my book. Distance today 93,5 km

Too much rain...

Day 18
Today I was not that anxious to get out of my sleepingbag, put on my wet socks and my wet shoes but finally I just had to do it. It was raining in the morning but then it stopped so we packed it all together. I realised I had lost one screw on my rack but we fixed it with strips. Then I said goodbye to Ove and I was heading for Nesna. I passed one café but it was a bit early and the weather was good so I didn't wanna stop. Maybe I should have because there were no more....which means no coffee today for me. But the weather was really improving so I was happy about that, cloudy and no more rain. In the end some rough hills but the evening sun came out and said hello. I arrived in Nesna at 7 pm and the boat was not due until almost 9 so I went for a pizza and a beer since I was really hungry. I met one funny man at the restaurant who wanted to order the cheapest on the menu. I commented that and laughed and he said; Do you know who I am? No I said. He told me he had millions at the bank so I was wondering why then, he should spend some on himself but he didn't want to. He told me that he used to be a successful boxer. He was very special. Then I went to the ferry which was only 30 minutes and a really nice trip. I was lucky and found a tentspot really fast just next to an abandoned house. I just love those places and thought my tent looked really good there. I let the tent dry out a bit before I moved in. Tonight will be a lot more cozier and I have bought a new pair of socks! Tomorrow I will start fresh with dry socks, can you believe this kind of happiness? And soon I will meet The Lost Cyclist, he is getting closer so we'll probably meet any day now. Distance today 88,2 km
